Podiya YouTube Channel – “Ghosts” Social Media Post & Thumbnail Design

This project was a creative collaboration with Podiya, a popular Sri Lankan YouTuber known for his unique content style and captivating storytelling. The objective was to design a complete visual package — social media posts and YouTube thumbnails — to promote his themed content “Ghosts”.
The challenge was to merge the mysterious and eerie atmosphere of ghost stories with a bold, high-impact design style that grabs attention instantly in the fast-paced world of social media.

Creative Direction
We built the design around a dark cinematic color palette — deep blacks, smoky grays, and ghostly blues — complemented by bold, textured typography to convey mystery and suspense. The imagery featured high-contrast ghost silhouettes, fog effects, and glitch distortions to spark curiosity.
For thumbnails, we applied visual hierarchy techniques to highlight the title and Podiya’s brand while ensuring the imagery stood out even at small sizes. For social media posts, we created platform-optimized layouts designed for maximum engagement on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube community posts.
